The Mission Generating Station is a single-unit hydroelectric station located on the Magpie River. It was built in 1990, and has an installed capacity of 16.0 MW at a head of 35.8 metres.
Located 25 km downstream from Steephill, this station is the last of three stations along the Magpie River.
Mission has one penstock, which is similar to the penstock at Steephill. The penstock is 250 metres in length.
Mission is connected to the existing Hydro One 115kV line at Mission and connects to Magpie TS.
This hydroelectric generating station generates approximately 61,218 MWh of renewable energy per year.
